MY MENTAL HEALTH ROCKS COURSE
Small group sessions for neurodivergent young people in school and for their parents online

SESSIONS FOR CHILDREN AND PARENTS
My Mental Health Rocks is offered as a programme for young people, to raise awareness of their own innate mental health and their inner strengths.
Through various fun activities, in small group sessions in schools, I work towards helping these young people to better understand the concepts of thoughts and feelings and to become aware of how these interact. This helps them to begin to see that their mental wellbeing is unbreakable and that calm, wisdom, resilience, creativity and confidence are always within them to help them to survive and thrive.
Alongside teaching these principles to these young people, I also teach them to their parents/carers, to enable them to gently reinforce these concepts at home and in other settings. This also gives both parents and children the language and opportunity to talk about mental wellbeing within their family.
